This site was created to enhance learning and interaction between student, teachers and those interested in art and music education ( parents, policy makers, school administrators). The Department of Education by introducing specialization areas in Music and Art Education, has enhanced students background and knowledge in the arts and engaged them in creative processes and approaches.

The site presents useful educational practices engaging students in various artistic activities in and outside the University. It also includes examples of arts activities for pre service teachers and children, supporting contemporary approaches in visual arts and music education

Specifically in our pages you can:

  • be informed about our artistic practices, actions and collaborations with schools and the wider community
  • find educational material including: ideas, practices, activities and thematic units for Music and Art in Education useful for developing activities ( and in relation to national curriculum)
  • be informed about research, presentations and conferences related to arts and education
  • Interact, comment and critique on aspects of art and music education by using different web tools

We invite you to explore Arts in Education Website and we hope to hear back from you soon!
