The conference entitled "Provide equal educational opportunities: Need or utopia?''  was held on Saturday September 20, 2014 at 9:00 until 13:00 at the University of Cyprus. The results of the research program " Promoting Quality and Equity in Education: Development, implementation and evaluation of a program in school to provide equal educational opportunities for all students" were presented. 

 

At the first part of the conference, the theoretical background, the methodology and the results of the program were presented by the members of the research group of the program while at the second part, representatives of the primary, secondary and technical education of the Ministry of Education gave their presentations-comments. Finally, the audience discussion and closing of the conference were conducted, summarizing the main points and conclusions.
