2011 Study season

Following five years of fieldwork excavations at Palaepaphos, it was considered necessary to undertake a study season of the material unearthed during the previous expeditions. The 2011 season, which took place between the 29th August - 16th September, focused on the study of the Late Bronze Age pottery excavated at the sites of Marcello and Hadjiabdullah between the years 2006-2010. The selected material was also drawn and hotographed. |

| Following the 2011 study season, two articles were submitted for publication in the Report of the Department of Antiquities, Cyprus. The articles authored by Susan Sherratt and Artemis Georgiou include a catalogue of the Late Bronze Age pottery from the 2006-2008 excavations at Marcello and the 2009-2010 excavations at Hadjiabdullah respectively. |
